All land is Sacred
We honour the Original peoples of this land, the Darug, the
Darkinung and Wiradjiri, and acknowledge the tragedy of the
cultural destruction that white settlement brought about.
HearthGround is land dedicated to sacred ceremony & community
gatherings. Its a place to fulfil ones prescription for immersion in the
natural world. 60 acres are nestled in a beautiful valley in bushland at
Colo Northwest of Sydney. Yia and Nick Alias are its Hearth keepers.
Those who come experience not only the Healing Beauty of the land but also the Hospitality that acts as a foundation to all community gatherings held there.
Reconnecting to Nature has been shown to have health benefits from reducing blood pressure to, easing of muscle tension, balancing of emotions and much more. Its restorative Soul nourishment.
HearthGround is a perfect backdrop for gathering and teaching weekends such as Aboriginal Cultural Teaching Weekends by Milan Dhiyaan. We also run Womens Gatherings, Mens weekends, Crafting and Jam making, Working Bees and Seasonal Celebrations such as the Winter Spiral Walk.
The property is also available for week day escapes from the city. Accomodation is available in the tantric turtle gypsy truck. Renos have begun to restore a vintage caravan for stay overs and there are a couple of canvas bell tents for a bit of gypsy glamp. Get in touch below....
